HARCOURTS COOPER & CO HOBSONVILLE HALF MARATHON
The Hobsonville Half Marathon is a new event in the 2026/27 Auckland Half Marathon Series - but there's plenty of history. The event is a massive new take on what was previously known as Run the Point, which first took place in 2020. Now finding its place in the calendar as a major new half marathon event, the Hobsonville Half Marathon will highlight what the locals have known for a long time ... this is an awesome place to run. The event will showcase the two main running locations in the area - the "Little Loop" coastal walkway at Hobsonville Point and the unique Herald Island. Neither will disappoint!

TRENDY HOBSONVILLE POINT
Hobsonville Point is one of Auckland’s newest and most distinctive neighbourhoods, a thoughtfully planned waterfront community where contemporary homes and streets meet generous parks, green spaces and the Waitematā Harbour. Designed with outdoor living in mind, it feels made for an active, relaxed lifestyle, with plenty of space for walking, cycling, picnicking and enjoying the water. At the heart of this is the 5km Hobsonville Point Coastal Walkway, an almost-flat loop that follows the peninsula’s shoreline, passing harbour views, parks, bush-clad gullies and the lively waterfront at Catalina Bay, making it easy to step outside and enjoy the coastal setting.
